Be aware, the asked hotel may not be in the selected area using Priceline
I have used priceline for most of my destination hotels for 5 years! I have never complained about any hotel even if it is not as I wished to, since, I have got what been promised to..
Now, when it comes that the chosen hotel using their bidding system is not in the selected area, I will loudly
Complain!
What did I do?
1st I emailed to let them know it is not in their shaded area, it is in an idustraial area! Please cancel/change my reservation. They replied
With sorry, it is in that area.
2nd I emailed them to prove with pictures that the hotel is not in the shaded area. They said, sorry! According
To (our system) it is there..
3rd I called their customer service line, they said the same thing but suggested to call (customer relations)
Which has more authority, but they will open in the morning..
4th try, I called that department and surprisingly she was telling me that the hotel is in the selected area,
Tried to go with her in the map and tell her about the details to prove it is not there, she refused to and keep
Repeating like a robot, I asked for her superior she said sorry he cannot do anything, you have to provide a
Physical mail for further escalation, sorry we cannot do anything..
Sorry priceline, I will never ever deal with you again and even if I would get 90% discount. And I will do my
Best to warn my friends and people about you.

selected hotel: Ibn Battuta hotel, in Jabal Ali industrial area
