Wal-Mart
Unethical behavio

I would like to report an unethical behavior of Walmart.com. I am
ready to contact 7 on your side and any other media forums, i.E.
Facebook, Twitter, youtube and post about the misleading of the
company and how is cheating its customers in order to show revenue.

On December 26 I have ordered the IronMan Gravity 4000 Inversion
Table for $179. I was told that my item would get to the local store
in Union City no later than January 6. On January 6 still
no sign of where my item was, no tracking of the item was available
and when I called Wallmart Customer Service, nobody had any idea what
happened to my item. I was getting contradicting information from each
representative I talked to. I requested a refund but Deborah from
Chicago told me that I cannot get a refund since the item was in
transit.

I wanted to order the item from Amazon.com since they had the same
price. Wallmart.com stated that they cannot issue a refund and to wait
for few more days. On January 11 still no information regarding
the item. I called FEDEx and I was told that the item was never
provided by Wallmart.com and it seems that there are several other
customers complaining to FEDEx about the same item.

I called again Walmart.com and requested to speak to a supervisor. The
Customer Services representative I first talked to refused to put me
through a supervisor and at the end put the phone down on me. I called
again and after 1/2 hour on the phone was able to talk to Kimberly
from Chicago area. She said that she conducted an investigation and
that the item has never left the distribution center. I asked if I can
have an expedite delivery and she said that she can only do it if I
cancel my current order and re-order the item. But the item was not
available in stock anymore so I told her I do not want to do that and
I want the current item I ordered. Kimberly told me that Walmart is
changing the price of the item and if I place another order the item
is going to be at $235.

I had received another email from Walmart.com stating that my item
would arrive within 2-3 days.

On January 13 I received another email from Walmart.com stating
that my item was lost/damaged in transit and they cancelled my order
and that my refund will take about 5-6 weeks. Outrageous Walmart.
Checked this information with FEDEx and again Walmart lied. No item
was in transit nor shipped by FEDEx since the item was still at the
distribution center.

I went to the store and asked one of the Assistant Managers, called
Ron, to call the Customer Service. We spent 1 1/2h trying to talk to
somebody and Pam from Chicago told me that she cannot re-instate my
order that was cancelled and I need to wait until the item becomes
again available on line.

I explained to her that I ordered my item at $179 and do no want to
pay $235. She said she will make a note on my account for the company
to honor the initial price I ordered the item at. I asked her to
provide me with a proof, an email or fax but she refused. Really? It
is impossible to get any help or sense from the Customer
representatives. A lot of them are rude and unprofessional.

I am a single mother and I have 4 herniated disk, one of them very
bad. I need this item desperately and because of the
un-professionalism of Walmart misleading the customers only to make
their profit line, I have been delayed in almost a month from getting
this item that would improve my health.

This is outrageous, still did not get my refund, Walmart refuses to
honor my order and I think your company should be ashamed for treating
its customers with so much disrespect.

I talked to one of your ex employees, who used to be the Senior
Director of IT and he told me this is common practice at Walmart.
Also, another friends who is a manager told me this happens all the
time and the items are not even in stock but the company takes the
money from its customers and accrues interest for at least two months.
This is illegal Walmart. I wonder what the District Attorney would
have to say about this.
