I went to our local Wal-mart today to take back some hospital scrubs that my mother purchased for me for my birthday. My intent was to just even exchange but they didn't have my size. When I came back to customer service the girl tells me becuase I don't have a receipt I will have to take Wal-mart gift card. I am sorry but if you are going to expect someone to have a receipt for a birthday gift then your store should offer gift receipts. It made me feel like she was saying that I stole these items. I could have seen it if the amout would have been 100.00 but it was 30.00 bucks. I am sorry but this is just very poor customer service. If my mother wanted me to have a Wal-mart gift card she would have purchased one for me.
