Very deceving sketchy company - Dishonest billing and record keeping

I'm a college student and I've been with direct tv for about a year now. The service lacked a lot; so many days without cable but paid for anyway. It was only worth it because they have their low rates for the first year and all. Anyway, when I signed up I told them I'd only be staying at my place for one year. So the year has gone by, I'm sitting in my new apartment which clearly states on the lease "no satellite dishes" aw lame, going to have to break it off with direct tv. But NO! Apparently it's going to cost me $240 to cancel it because I'm in a 2 year agreement... Wait... Why would I sign a 2 year agreement when I knew and they knew that I was only going to be at that place for 1 year. Very very sketchy. They offered to move my service, but if I could have the dish I wouldn't have tried to cancel in the first place. The supervisor that I spoke with told me that it was my fault for getting an apartment that didn't allow dishes. He told me we could suspend my account for 6 months but after that I would still have to owe $240 for the cancellation. I told him that I thought it was extremely sketchy and he said I had signed a paper during installation. I don't recall. I asked him if he could pull it up to show me, and he said there was no way to do that. It's hard for me to keep my cool when I get upset. So I wasn't very nice to the guy. But he wasn't making the situation any better by interrupting me every second. I asked him if I could speak to a manager and he said there wasn't one there. Of course. I ended up hanging up on him. Just an overall terrible experience. I guess I'll try to dispute it but I'm not really sure where to start. Would not ever recommend direct tv to anyone, unless I really disliked that person. I just want to add. As a college student, $240 is like gold to me. It's pocket change to direct tv... I feel robbed and taken advantage of.
