Payment Taken Despite Account Put on Hold, Overdraft Resulted

I put my Netflix account on hold on Sept. 6. That was the day my payment for next month was due. They took my payment anyway causing a large overdraft on my checking. I called and told them I am being billed for Sept 6 through Oct 6 and my account is suppose to be on hold. It is on hold but they refuse to refund my payment. I only want my payment back, they refuse.
