Hello, fellow Fairbanks consumers.
I was so frustrated after I got off the phone with the loan resolution department of Fairbanks Capital that I was sick. Of course, I could not reach management, so I got on the internet to see if I could find other contact information. While browsing with tears in my eyes, I came across a whole lot of other folks around the world who were in the same boat as I am. I am not alone. I am so glad I found all of you, I could cry.
My complaint is with the joke of a forbearance agreement that I entered into with this company. It is bad enough that I got behind, but to have them add $1,600 in legal fees to an already delinquent account is absurd. With an $800.00 payment already behind 3 months, they did nothing but add two more heavy loads to the already heavy load that I had to carry. I called in the evening and spoke to a not-so-overworked representative who gave me a lot of insight into other programs available.
When I called my loan counselor the next day, she told me that there was no such thing as a modification agreement and that she did not know what I was talking about. I was mistaken. I made it up. Of course, I complained and asked for management, only to be transferred to another entry-level representative. When I visited this site, I also learned that modification agreements do exist. These people are playing with the lives and homes of countless individuals. If you visit this site, please leave your complaint so that others will not feel as alone as I did.
