SunTrust is the worst bank ever! We deposited two payroll checks into our personal account through the drive-thru, and somewhere between there and their proofing department they lost one of the checks, so they debited the account.
On Monday morning we took our deposit receipt to the bank, and we were told that yes, they lost the check, but there was nothing they could do about it, and they suggested that our employer pay for a stop payment on the check. We explained that it is SunTrust's fault they lost the check, yet they won't do anything to try to trace it. The only reason my account is still open is that we are waiting for them to credit the account.
SunTrust does nothing to try to help its customers. They are more rude than nice.
