On Nov 6th we had an ice storm come through Powderly, TX. On Nov 5th I called Allstate Insurance and explained to my agent that we were having an ice storm and that I needed to take out full coverage on my car and insurance on my mobile home. She said I had an outstanding balance due and it would have to be paid before they could add coverages. I said the money is in the bank, take it out, and she said OK. I did not hear back from her, so I contacted the 1-800 number and spoke to someone there and explained what I was calling about. She looked into my file and said that the coverages had not been added.
I said the woman I spoke with said she would get the coverage on, and she did. Now Allstate is dismissing my claim because I did not have coverage, and I did. So now here I am without a car, and my mobile home is damaged. But notice, I will not give up.
