SunTrust Bank holds $27,499 of our deposit from a down payment with Taylor Morrison, formerly Taylor Woodrow builders, for the purchase of a condo in the Palma Sola Trace development in Central Florida.
We had a pre-qualification done over the telephone, saying that we were qualified to buy the condo. We have since realized it was totally unprofessional and must have been done by some clerk. A year and a half later, we were presented with an application for a loan that was done by the builder's loan company (Wells Fargo), whereby Wells tripled my husband's income. THIS IS CALLED A LIAR LOAN TODAY.
We immediately recognized this as a dishonest practice and decided not to go through with the purchase in any shape or form. SunTrust to this day holds our money and is not willing to return it. We consider both companies to be very dishonest, unless they immediately return our deposit with interest.
