Unexpected $200 deductible added to phone bill after iPhone claim

I dropped my insured 2 week old iPhone, file a claim. (pay $10.00 per month) for insurance.
At the end of the filing process, (cumbersome). I get the bad news, oh, by the way we're adding $200 to your phone bill! Yikes, no word of it when you're buying the insurance...
