I just called to talk to DISH Network about switching from my cable company. I was impressed by the pricing for the bundle I was looking at and told the telephone sales person as much. I said that I would like to wait until payday to install because of the $99 set up charge. The sales person kept insisting I charge at least $21 to my card to "hold the installation date". When I said that we could take it up on payday he tried a few high pressure tactics leading me to hang up. The DISH guy called me back and tried to browbeat me into charging money to my card so I hung up on him again. He then called my house over and over (9 times in the next 10 minutes). I was on my cell with the customer complaint line just as he hung up - the only way I got them to connect me to a real person was threatening to call the Better Business Bureau. After talking to that representative I was told they probably could not do a thing since I didn't complete a payment that would enable them to see who I was talking with.
