I have had comcast in this home for 22 years before needing the cable box. I ordered the boxes online and was told 4 business days. Every day I had fewer channels so I called and was told the order was never put through and it would be 4 more days, ofcourse, over another weekend. Now 14 days without a box. I hooked up and was activated. A week later I decided to upgrade and called to go up 1 tier and was told it would be $34.95. A week later I received a bill for $64.95 per month. I called and was told they did not have a plan for $34.95 but $39.95. I agreed and then was told that I needed a different box and they stopped all channels and again over a weekend. I finally hooked up the next box and could not activate online. I was on the phone for 87 minutes and was told that with this tier I would would only add a few channels and not the ones I was promised the week before but ofcourse I could add them for an additional $24.00 per month. I was so upset with Comcast that I had to get off the phone. Later I turned on a tv in another room only to fined out that I have different channels on each one. Now I have to disconnect all the boxes and find a place to return all of them. I would rather take my chance with rabbit ears than deal with them one more minute. Now I understand why Consumer Report rates them so low.
