My wife and I were in love with Uverse until we bought a house and were getting ready to move. We had them investigate the new address and they told us that we were good to go and set up the new installation. 1 day before that installation we got a call that said that the technology was not yet ready and it may be 4-6 weeks before they could get us set up. At that point we had no choice but to go with a different service provider.
Here is where the complaint actually takes on life. We have had installer's show up multiple times for the appointment that 'we' set up. We've never set up an appointment. Also, we had a balance on our account and cannot get ATT to pay us that balance back. 10 minutes ago, I got off the phone after being passed around to various departments where I spoke with "Mr McCoy". He stated that a check had been cut on 7/5 but that it takes 4-6 weeks for the check to be mailed. When I asked why it takes so long he became a bit rude and stated that it was ATT policy. I loved Uverse, but their customer service is the worst on the planet. Right now I'm just looking for the money that they owe me.
