Hello Disney Channel,
Please read this with an open mind from a young girl who just wants her channel back.
Like many others, I wish that you would make some changes in your channel. I watched a documentary on Walt Disney the other day and wondered what he would think of the new Disney Channel. He would certainly be disapointed. I myself have been in love with Disney all my life, and recently the new shows have left me sad and angry at what the Disney Company has become. It seems that all the new shows all starting with Hannah Montana, Sonny with a Chance/So Random, Shake it Up, and A.N. T Farm focus only on fame. Every episode deals with the same situations. Everyone *must* sing, dance, act, and be famous. What angers me is that you have yet to show kids, like myself, real jobs. There is a slim chance a kid will make it on TV, so why show these famous little rich kids?
Also, I think that you should take off some of the shows that the viewers do not like and put on classic Disney shows like the House of Mouse, Lizzie McGuire, Even Stevens etc. To bring to the younger viewers a taste of classic Disney and let them decide what they like best. If you do not like that option, you could make new shows that go back to Walt Disney's origanal ideas. How about airing Classic Disney movies at night like 101 Dalmations or Beauty and the Beast?
Please take take these thoughts into consideration. Your viewers will thank you. Trust me.
