My husband received a business call from One Communications indicating that AT&T contracted with One Communications to take over billing invoices. All services would remain with AT&T, but the invoice would come from One Communications. He was also informed that if there were any business phone line issues, we were to contact AT&T. Two weeks later, my husband had no business telephone or fax lines. We spent 4 days getting everything transferred back to AT&T, and we received a bill for One Communications trouble! AT&T indicated this happens to people all the time, particularly the elderly. We did file a BBB complaint, and we have no intention of paying the bill. We will, however, do what we can to protect those at risk.
