I bought the Vivitek 56" Rear-Projection tv in September I've since needed to substitute the light for that next time today. Heading primary to Vivitek they'll ask you for $196.00 for that light, but that does include delivery. How type they're huh? NOT! I simply bought my next light today from Pureland Supply (www.purelandsupply.com) for $157.00. There's never a sign the light will go south, it simply all the unexpected doesn't switch on. Today it is Friday and we shall proceed 3-5 times with no television until we spend extra shipping costs.
I'll NEVER purchase another Vivitek item not just due to my frustration within the quantity of replacement lights I've needed to buy but additionally since Vivitek customer support hasn't been of any aid and do not actually care that their item is providing me trouble. Obviously I'm ACUTELY frustrated!
