DirectTV
Falsely charged $240

In November my HD receiver quit operating, and DirectTV delivered me a brand new recipient. The container that the brand new reciever appeared included no email back directions or perhaps a return miling tag. I talked having a support consultant plus they advised me that since I have possessed the recipient which it had been "aged" that used to do not need to send it back and IO might get rid of it nevertheless I wanted. We obtained no notice within the next 8 weeks that people needed to trturn the damaged recipient.in early Jan I discarded the damaged reciever.

Our Jan bill involved a low-return charge of $240 for that damaged HD recevier. I called DirectTV, and on the two-hour telephone call was informed by two distinct people who they'd billed me inc4240orrectly, that used to do not need to come back the damaged recipient which I'd be acknowledged the $240 on my next statement.

I received a notice this week informing me that i still owe the $240. I called DirectTV on the 90-minute telephone call, where I had been informed they experienced my situation was unjust, however they might not credit me the $240.

I used directions supplied in my experience with a DirectTV consultant, and due to these intructions I'm being billed $240. I'd have happily shipped the damaged recipient back had I been intructed to do this both verbally or by email. I'm requesting your assist in this issue when I am being stonewalled by DirectTV as well as their reps.
