Paying for item that was never recieved

I ordered an item from brighthouse a week agoand was told to wait until the Thursday, so I did. When I came to collect the item the manager told us that there was a problem and we had to wait until the Monday.
Again we did. Then when it was time to collect the item. We had the same excuse and had to wait the Thursday. I was paying for an item that I never received and had to wait an extremely long time. Still haven't received it. Made 4 payments still been told the same.." wait a week " etc. Not very happy with it.
