I wanted to bring to your attention that I am offended by the messages that are being sent to children/viewers of the show 'Jessie'.in the episode I viewed, I saw many characters, (including those who are supposed to be the role-models, i.E. Jessie, the mom as well as the children) making mean remarks/gestures when first meeting a 'mean' nanny.in addition, they made many comments to the character's 'mole', which made my daughter (who is beautiful inside and out, and happens to also have a mole/birthmark) feel extremely insecure and uncomfortable. — I also find the young by from the middle east to be completely stereotypical... Bordering on racist... (and it is obvious he is an American actor with a cliche fake accent).
I used to rely on Disney channel to send positive/wholesome messages to my kids. But lately I am disappointed in many of the schemes and cop-outs that are becoming commonplace to disney's programming. It used to come across as though Disney actually cared about the messages they were sending to impressionable kids/tweens, but lately it seems like it's all about ratings at the expense of moral fiber.
As loyal customer customer who is losing faith, I felt the need to inform you of my opinion.
