Bought system November.installer came out. I told him he could place satilite anywhere but that the roof was new and I only wanted it placed once. The installer showed me the location they picked and I noticed it was near a tree and asked about it, they assured me signal came from the other direction. The system never worked correctly. Called numous times. Talked to all kinds of people at hughsnet, no solution. Went through a modem, upgraded system, and spent more than 6 hours troubleshooting. Finally they send out a tech and find out the system was sent up in the wrong place and the tree was in the way. I had begged them in the last 2 calls to just let me cancel without penalty, but no charged me $170 to cancel, even though I paid for Internet I never got. Terrible company, and customer service.
