Ok, I'm 18, and watching the new show Jessie with my little sister, who is 9. Hey I laugh at some of the things on Disney, but this really got me.in one episode, a girl just got a magazine and told Jessie "Oh it's about bra stuffing! Which is better, socks or tissue paper?" The NANNY, who is supposed to be the good example says, "Neither, It's toilet paper" something like that. REALLY?! Yea, portraying to girls that you need bigger breasts to feel or look beautiful, to little girls, or anyone in general is WRONG! That isn't funny! Girls will now take that advice on there. Now my little sister and I no longer watch the show. Do not try to appeal to teenagers, if that is what you are doing. It's DISNEY, I'm a teen, and if I don't want to watch something completey for my age, I got to Disney. I enjoy Phineous and Ferb the most, amazing show. Keep that one up, and be careful what you portray to kids. Also the fact that you keep using smart kids, or "nerds" with glasses as losers. STOP THAT! You have to be pretty to be popular, or a cheer learder, blah blah STOP! I was picked on as a kid for having glasses and braces and being smart. Your giving the wrong image to these kids! They will take it seriously! And the fact, that if the character usually wears glasses, then you take them off to portray them as "looking better" STOP STOP STOP! Bring back the good Disney, not this crap!!!
