This company apparently has relationships with companies on the Internet so that when you buy something from somebody else, this company will have a pop-up appear. They somehow get your credit card information and charge you a subscription fee for something you didn't order. I called them and had no problem getting the fee cancelled, but you could tell that they are in the business of charging credit cards without authorization and hoping that people don't catch it.
I expect they would have raised problems with me if I was not assertive with them from the start. They asked me if anyone had access to my credit card numbers and tried the classic con of trying to make me feel guilty like I somehow did something wrong for them to get my credit card information. I hope Eliot Spitzer shuts these guys down.
