FTD scam!!!
I use the FTD website to order flowers and a month later I was charged $10.00 from Reservation Rewards. I did some research and discovered that this was a scam. I am suprised and upset that a brand as strong as FTD would be involved with a scam like this. This undermines my trust in all businesses particularly those on the internet. They gave my credit card number to Reservation Rewards without my authorization and then lied about it.
Do not order flowers from FTD your privacy will not be honored.
If you have been billed for Reservation Rewards and don't know how they got your information it may be FTD it may be someone else.
Reservation Rewards did refund my money. However I am not satisfied that my financial information is secure. If FTD gave them my information I don't know who else has it.
FTD refused to refund my purchase or to make this right with me in any way. I told them that I do not appreciate them violating my trust by passing along vital personal and financial information. I tried to get a refund for my purchase and failed to get as much as an apology.
My recommendation is as follows:
Do not do business with FTD.
If you fallen into this same trap get your account credited by Reservation Rewards then CALL 1-800-FTD-SEND and demand a refund for your purchase. They will tell you that you gave Reservation Rewards your information. It is a lie. Ask to talk to a supervisor and demand a refund for your purchase. File a complaint with an appropriate agency or initiate a class action lawsuit against FTD and Reservation Rewards.
I am not through with FTD yet. They know they are wrong and I am suprised that they are willing to allow their assosiation with this scam to degrade their brand. I understand that there may always be scams on the internet but shame on FTD for betraying their customers and those who worked so hard to build that brand.
Do not do business with FTD!!!
They WILL distribute your credit card number and personal information without your authorization. I couldn't beleive it myself. These people need to learn a lesson. Get on the phone and get on the blogs. Make some noise. They will get the message.
