My husband and I were suckered into signing up for a timeshare with Festiva Resorts in Charleston, SC., but not of the additional services promised were ever delivered. When we were not able to book vacation spots, use certain times, or even receive timely responses to questions or any good-faith efforts to resolved complaints, we stopped paying the monthly charge and had our credit cards changed. We have been following the Attorney General's office for the State of South Carolina and have seen that a multitude of complaints against Festiva have been filed with our SC Attorney General. Follow-up from the company has demonstrated a complete lack of caring about customers, once the contract has been signed. My husband even caught one salesperson in a complete lie and he then tried to back-track. We have NEVER used any of Festiva Resorts services and simply asked that our contract me made null and void. Eating the loss of the thousands of dollars we had already invested. Festiva wanted nothing but full payment and has complete lack of customer service, compassion or any level of professionalism.
