I went to Delta's website Numerous times to book a flight from Tampa to Detroit, they had an ECONOMY Fare of $229.60 on Various days, on July 11th I booked the flight using my PayPal account which is an option. I received my PayPal confirmation, BUT nothing from Delta! 3.5 hours and many snotty supervisers later, I was hung up on by them, call ing me a "Dictator" for trying to get my ticket confirmation number!
They told me I was NOT on their roster, BUY THE TICKET again, and they'd refund me for one! The NEW PRICE was $20 higher! You can't get there from here! Period! They have EVERY dirty tactic to NOT give you the ADVERTISED PRICE! You ask it, they deny it! When they realize you're not giving up, they find a way to "HANG UP ON YOU" The lower price was on their site for 4 or 5 different days, when you press purchase, the price goes up!
I've filed an FTC, FAA complaint on them out of Principle! I had no idea I'd be 3.5 hours of agony on hold, and 3 or 4 different "SUPERVISERS"! This IS Criminal, if you've had this issue, which other websites confirm as YES, then Delta needs a Class action suit against them at the very least! It was never about the $20 to start, it became a matter of principle, They have no Principle! I suggest flying OTHER THAN DELTA if possible! They have no customer service, only LIARS!
