My friend and I took one of your busses from San Diego to Las Vegas on Sunday 8/7. I was looking forward to this luxury ride however it was very disappointing. I am an attorney and my friend is a business owner. We like to travel with a bit of class and after reviewing your web site it seemed perfect.

1. The bus was 1 1/2 hours late.

2. We never received the welcome Champagne toast you mentioned.

3. We certainly weren't served by a highly trained award winning service attendant.

4. We didn't get the lunch featured on your website. See below.
"Lux Travel is happy to provide you with a light lunch on most routes consisting of a 1/2 sandwich, fresh fruit or salad and a freshly baked cookie. This is a complimentary meal."

We got a dry croissant, an 1/8 of an orange and 2 small stale store bought cookies. We were starving.

5. We didn't get the cake pop you describe on your website. See below

"During your cruise on our luxury motor coach you will receive a complimentary "Cake Pop". These are available in a variety of flavors and all topped off with Lux's signature chocolate mint! This delicious and unique snack is just another way for Lux to say thank you for choosing us!

6. We didn't get any of the warm scented towels promised on the website. See below.

Lux Travel Group offers the opportunity to freshen up before arriving into your destination city. A warm, scented towel will be provided to all of our passengers in First Class and the main cabin.

7. We didn't have the opportunity to watch movies because they were all broken: (See below.

Free Movie Available
Lux Travel will provide you with a free, blockbuster movie on all routes over 3 hours.

The whole trip was a disaster, but it gets worse...

Tuesday we are ready to return to San Diego, we check out of the Palms hotel in the morning and will wait until 3:00 to get the bus we had scheduled to return to San Diego. We get a call around 2:00 advising the bus will be late and won't be in Las Vegas until 6:00. We had expected to arrive in San Diego by 9:30, my friend had to be at work at 10:00 pm. I asked to speak to a Supervisor, I was placed on hold any time I made that request and no body would pick up the phone. I asked for the name of the person who owns the business to no avail I spoke to a young woman who claimed to be the office manager, she refused to give me her last name. I asked her to have a supervisor or the owner call ASAP, we needed to get out of Las Vegas and get to work.

It gets better, at 5:15 we get a call telling us the bus wasn't going to make it tonight, but it would be there tomorrow morning at 8:00. I was irate, they still wouldn't give me anyone with any authority to speak to nor would they disclose any information about the location of the business.

They offered to get us a room at the California Hotel - rates are $34 per night. It's not a hotel I would feel comfortable staying in..

We flew out of Las Vegas so we could make it to work. I hope Lux transportation will be so kind as to reimburse us for the cost of the plane ticket. We spent $200 each, if you don't plan to cover the expense of the tickets, please provide your address so I can take the appropriate legal action ASAP.

The bus never arrived at 8:00 this morning, I'm glad we flew home or else we would still be stuck in Las Vegas
