Short of a national disaster you cannot cancel your hotel arrangements with hope of getting a refund. No matter how far out your hotel stay is YOU CANNOT GET A REFUND... Not one penny. If you find a lower price somewhere else~no refund. If you have an unfortunate change of events such as Death, Illness, or Military order~no refund. If you cancel a week, a month or even a year in advance~no refund. If a flood swallows your home~no refund. No refund, no refund. No refund. The only thing they MAY cancel for is if a national disaster occurs and all airlines are canceled. It is NOT worth the small savings you get to risk losing your money if you should need to cancel.
