I was introduced to this company through a newspaper ad in The Dallas Morning News. This was an ad for a job opportunity that would allow you to sell products on your own internet site and make money for a fee of $6.95. This opportunity allowed you to try this job out for this price for 14 days. If you were unsatisfied with the results you could cancel membership, and the fee was unrefundable.
They then placed you as a member for two other companies. One was for a 30-day trial period, and one was for a 60-day trial period. ValuMax, which was a company who claimed that they would give you discounts on hotels and things of that nature, was for the 60-day trial period, but both were found on dealpath.com. I canceled my membership with the ValuMax within 30 days.
I discovered that they charged me after I received a notice of insufficient funds in the mail.
I called my bank to see what it was for, and they informed me that ValueMax had charged me $19.95. Now, I have overdraft fees because they charged me after I had cancelled my membership. I researched this commpany afterwards, and now I am aware that I am not the only victim.
