This airline which has an office in New York lost my luggage for the entire duration of my visit to a country overseas. My trip was a total loss since everything I needed for an entire week was in my suitcase. The suitcase was only found when I returned. I demanded they reimburse me the price of the ticket and for the mental anguish they caused me due to their negligence, not to mention the time and money I had to spend trying to find my suitcase and buying some clothing items. I asked for a mere $1500, they offered $400 and threatened to withdraw their offer by Nov 30 if I don't accept. They informed me that their compensation is based on the weight of my suitcase. Then they claimed it was for my inconvenience. I am sure they are able to treat their customers in this shabby manner because they know they can get away with it legally. Ethical treatment has no place in their policy. I doubt this company will even respond since they are known of their contemptuous attitude toward their customers, but I will continue to voice my complaint in every way I can and will not accept their insulting offer.
