This company made an on-line reservation for me, with the false advertising that they provided the lowest rates. My credit card was charged $127.08, for a two night stay at a Days Inn in Morehead, Kentucky.
Through an error in accounting, my card was again charged at check out time, this time by the Days Inn front desk clerk, at a rate of $94.69. I did not receive any special discounts from the hotel, this was a difference of $32.39. I called the Days Inn, and they are crediting my card for their charge of $94.69.
I then called the on line service Hotel-Guides.Us, and asked why their rates were not in fact as they had advertised "the lowest", and was told by a customer service supervisor" that's why you have to surf the net". I believe that I was a victim of false advertising, and that Hotel-Guides.Us does not conduct business in an ethical way, and is a RIP OFF
