Price Assurance a joke

I booked hotel through Orbitz. Four days later, two family members with same last name booked at a much lower price. Same hotel, same night. I have gone through hoops to try and get my refund under their "price assurance" policy. They claim they are always checking to see if someone is booking for less. But when I contacted them, via phone and chat, they are playing totally numb. NO NOT USE ORBITZ, I would have been better off, booking directly with the hotel with a cxl policy of 24 hours, instead of this rip off site.
