I stayed with husband and 2 children at Marriott. We checked in 12/24 at 9am my family went immediately out to the pool. I stayed and slept for a few hours, my husband came and asked me to go out with them. As soon as I went out i felt intense itching on my legs. I felt that maybe i was having an allergic reaction to some lotion or something. I went back to the room to rest again, and 30 minutes later went out again and the itching became more intense. That went on for the whole day and night affected area (legs and arms) was red and I asked over and over does anyone itch? No one else did so I kept on thinking that it was allergic reaction, we checked out 12/25 9am. And it was not until that afternoon that I saw that the affected area had what looked like insect bites. I did some research and came to the conclusion that it was indeed bedbugs. I waited until I got home from out trip to call I got home one the 27th. I talked to a mgr. And asked for a refund for my stay and to please go and take care of the room so no one else gets affected. She said that since no one else had complained there was probably no issue. She said they were going to check the room and according to the findings they would address the claim. I have not received a call back. As of today the itching is still going on. I threw away my clothing including an outfit that I purchased at the hotel. I did find bites on my son and my husband as well.
