This is the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. First thing, their front desk Wayne quoted that there would be no additional cost for an additional adult. Second, they dont want to give our money back when I asked for refund since they said that I booked it with Priceline and that's the usual problem for booking it in a third party. I asked for reconsideration to reimburse us of any amount since we cannot cross the board of canada due to my husband's problem which had happened 10 years ago and which I didnt expect to happen at all. We went back to New York and even asked if there's any way that we can be accommodated by transferring what we've paid for even just for one night. We've paid 310 USD for 2 nights. But their reservation discourteously said that No way that we can refund that because that is nonrefundable that you booked with priceline. Which wasnt disclose to me either. Bottomline here is, I've a client of Marriott Hotel for 20 years and that's how I was treated at this time. That reservation desk at Marriott Gateway on the falls was really rude to me. Definitely, Marriott is just the best of getting money from clients but in the event of unavoidable or unexpected times like this, Marriott is the worst ever!!! No matter how long I've been dealing with this hotel everywhere I go. Also, that reservation their when I asked for refund even said that that Marriott Gateway on the falls was individually owned that's why is not Marriott itself, but why carry the name of Marriott if they cannot keep up with the used to be good standard of Marriott that I once known before. I am very disappointed, very pissed and never will I recommend this hotel to anybody! Hope this will reach the top management of Marriott Hotel and surely it will because our family friend is even working at Marriott for a long time and this is the first time I've experience this kind of service from this hotel., Marriott Gateway on the falls is not the place to stay.
