My wife and I made reservations at the Hilton Hotel in Shelton Ct. But plans for us changed and we asked for a refund.
We were told that we had an advanced reservation and it was a no refund policy.
Isn't a reservation usually made in advance or am I mistaken.
We have to make another reservation at any Hilton Hotel in the country and then wait for two to three weeks for a refund minus a $ 25.00 fee and pay for the new reservation.
I have traveled all over the world and have never been misled by any Hotel in the world. I would never use a Hilton Hotel in any location. If they are that determined to steal money from us they can have this one but will never see us again. I would rather stay in a cardboard box in the street before a Hilton Hotel.
In closing it is not wise to make a " reservation " at a Hilton Hotel if there is a chance that the reservation may have to be canceled.
