Icmg Inc
Beware!

After being burned trying to donate my timeshare, I am very leary about timeshare resales in general. This company cold called us several times one day through 3 different sales people. They all start out by asking us if we want to purchase another timeshare.in reality they are more about taking in listings and use the opening line to cover up that fact. Guess you never know... They may sucker someone into taking one our of their inventory and boast a sale that way.

After several calls, I decided to talk to someone to learn more of what they were about. The first guy could not answer any of my questions, so I was immediately transferred to his manager. After 20 minutes of trying to convince me why their company is more than a listing company, he was insistent on charging the $962 fee to either my MC or Visa. Fortunately, I was not going to fall for this again and told him I refuse to give my CC information over the phone and that I wanted to see my personalized contract before considering anything. I had to argue another 15 minutes before he would email it to me, but told me I had 5 minutes to go over the contract with him on the phone. Don't worry, I still told him no. Eventually he sent me an email with no information in the contract. Told him it wasn't good enough. He said the contract cannot be completed until after the CC is processed and it is sent off to their processing dept. Still told him no and I would not do anything until I had at least 3 days to consider the details.

I spend another 30 minutes on the phone with him. I explained what I wanted was for someone to just market the timeshare and I would agree they could have all the proceeds (he was insistent they could get at least $9000 for it... Good luck), He then started chewing me out and letting me know he doesn't work there for the $962. They make all their money on the financing when they sell it. So I told him he should be able to go along with my suggestion then. If he doesn't make any money on the $962 he should be happy just being able to make all the money on the financing and not charge me. Obviously he changed his story and needed the $962.

Eventually, I was able to get off the phone with him and agreed to take his call tonight at 8p. I did my investigation and through several complaints and a warning from a former employee was able to determine this company is no more legit than any other listing company that takes the money up front and you never hear from them. The former employee posted the warning as his morals and ethics got to him. He had been trained to lie, cheat, and steal any way he could to take people's hard earned money that they didn't have. He couldn't take his conscience anymore. Btw... Even though they had a specific time and number to call me, they continued 3 days several times a day to call our cell phone.

Tonight, I answered the call as I had promised. I knew they were not going to be honest, but figured I wasn't going to lose my character just because of them. He asked me if I had any questions on the contract and how I would pay the $962. I told him I was very interested in letting them sell my unit and taking what they can get, but was not interested in paying for anything until services were rendered. Basically, I wasn't going to be taken advantage of again. He hung up. At least he said "Thank you" first, but didn't even wait for a response from me.

Just beware. I am sure they get lucky once in awhile and sell a property for someone. However, through all the complaints and what I gathered in 1 hour of conversations with them, they act like they are a large operation with tons of sales happening, but in reality they are a handfull of people mascarading as several departments. They are no different than a listing company, but will tell you what you want to hear... That "they are calling existing timeshare owners who want to buy more time at discounted rates". This sounds enticing and the greed in me would like to get $9000 out of my timeshare, but I soon come to my senses and realize I cannot give this thing away and they can't either. If they could, they would need my money up front.
