At the end of our Danube River Cruise in September Vantage Travel, downgraded us with no advance notice from our prepaid 5 star Hilton Prague City Center Hotel to a dumpy 2 star "elephant" hotel, claiming that they were comparable, even though the Hilton charges $200 more per night. Vantage CEO, Henry Lewis, ignored my registered letter requesting $600 compensation for this downgrade.
Vantage charged me $400 to replace 2 wireless receivers, whose replacement cost was $160. They refused to refund the $240 difference. As prior Vantage clients, we will never use them again, and recommend travelers avoid them like the plague because of their dishonest, unethical and unresponsive actions.
I filed formal complaints against them with the MA Attorney General and Boston BBB for fraud, false and misleading advertising and deceptive business practices.
