On Jan 8 purchased two roundtrip tickets to fly on May 13. On April 23rd received phone call that the flights were cancelled by corporate offices of Direct Air Airlines. No explanation for the cancellation, our money will be refunded... Today is May 9 and still no money.
Had to book new flights on shorter notice with different airline for $400 more. Direct Air does not have any way to contact them other than email! Can't talk to anyone from corporate that can give you immediate assistance or answers. They have no concept of working in a timely fashion except to cancell flights.
We live on a fixed income and don't do much traveling so this trip was very important to us. We haven't seen our military son in well over a year and a half. They have no regard to keeping customers happy. This has put us in a financial turmoil. Never again will I ever try to book another flight with this company.
So word to the wise... Beware of Direct Air! This should be their new slogan.
