False Advertising - Email

Rec'd an email 4/22 at precisely 10:00pm stating " round-trip fares from Atlanta to Baltimore from 05/04 to 05/09, start at just: $138." At approx 10:40pm I saw the email and followed link in email to "see Baltimore flight deals." Searched for about 30 minutes on my own and finally decided to call Cheaptickets. (800-504-3249).initial person was unable to find any comperable flight. I questioned the false advertising. Was transferred to "customer service" which turned out to be for Orbitz. This second person was also unable to find comperable flight (but could find one for $184 with dates of 14 & 21). Again, I questioned false advertising. I was put on hold to "check one more place" and after about 3 minutes was transferred to a third person (without being told I would be). Third person quoted r/t rate of $288 (all inclusive). Again, nothing comperable to email I had rec'd.By this time it was approx 1.5 hours after receiving email. I again questioned false advertising. I was given reason that when email went out the flight must have been available, but has since been booked (keep in mind I was searching for flight within 45 minutes of email receipt). Prior to this reason, I was told my dates did not match up. Guess that's the usual "song and dance" but those WERE my dates. So, I then asked the rep if he could in fact verify someone received that rate. Put me on hold. Came back and said he asked his supervisor and that no they could not verify that info.
