Property Management Worldwide
Timeshare Sales Scam

In January I was contacted by phone by Robert Schultz of Property Management Worldwide asking if I was interested in selling my Worldmark by Wyndham timeshare credits. I told him i was. After sharing information with him he said he would get back to me if he found a buyer. About a week later Mr. Schultz again phoned me to say he had an interested buyer and that he was working to see if they could qualify to purchase my credits. Several days later he phoned me to say that the buyer had qualified for the asking price. A contract was then faxed to me on 2/1. He then stated that for his company to complete the transaction I would need to pay a fee of $1,850 which I authorized to be withdrawn from my checking account. That transaction took place on 2/3. He phoned me the next day to report that the sale process was proceeding and should be closing within 45 days. He also asked me to share the information of 2 other timeshare resale/rental companies that i had previously dealt with, with no success, as he could reclaim any fees since there is a Federal law which governs such invalid transactions. (This topic had come up in one of our conversations) I called him the next week and left that information on his voice mail. I then followed up the next week to confirm that he had received the information and to inquire about how the sale process was going. Again, I was only able to reach his voice mail. I waited a couple of more weeks before i called again, the first week in March. That is when i discovered that the phone number was out of service. I sent an email, it was returned as not deliverable. I then wrote a letter of inquiry and sent it to the mailing address. I have had no response. It seems that Property Management Worldwide has gone out of business. If that is confirmed, then they have my $1,850 and I still have not sold my timeshare credits.
