Travelocity is Cheating

March, 21, I am writing this note to seek your attention and help. I have written many letters and tried to connect with the company. Unfortunately it is very hard to talk with anyone. I wanted to purchase two tickets one for me (trip ID: 202846055923) and the other for my wife (trip ID 603582378153). Traveling from Miami on Jan 14 and returning with my wife from Rochester Minn, on Jan 16. I called Travelocity on Dec 24 to purchase the tickets. I could book the tickets, myself for less than 300 dollar. I had 272 dollar credit from October due to a cancelled ticket with Travelocity. So I decided to ask the Travelocity agent to put my credit into effect and book me the two tickets. One week after, I found out that first of all I loose 180 dollar of that credit and I can only use 37 dollars of credit toward the new tickets.in addition the new ticket prices get exaggerated to about 500 dollars for me. The agent explained after charging my debit account, that is because "I am changing my reservation.”

In summary Because I was using the credit, not only I loose 180 dollars of it for whatever reason, but also the price of tickets double for me. Please you make sense of this! I was on phone for about six hours finally one nice gentleman solved the problem and cancelled the wrong charges. Unfortunatly, soon I found out that he forgot to include my wife. Upon my complaint another agent took charge of the problem. He promised me everything will be ok. The problem seemed to be resolved. I had to travel for about a week I had no access to computer. Thursday night on Dec 30 upon my return to Miami, at about 1AM, I called to make sure that the reservation was ok. First agent could not find any artinary of reservation on file. I called on Friday Dec 31 I was on phone for about four hours. Then I found out that the agent had booked me wrongfully to Rochester NY instead of Rochester Minnesota. Finally after so much wait I was able to talk to a supervisor. He fixed the problem by charging me 300 dollar extra for the agent’s mistake of confusing Rochester NY with Rochester Minnesota. Two ticket which I could book myself for about 275 dollars, end up costing me costing me 932 dollars.

This ordeal has been costly for me time wise, emotionally and financially. I would appreciate your help and attention to this matter. Below please note the detail cost as highlighted in the bank statement. 272 112.90 30 155.40 112.90 150 150=983.20. I could have purchased the ticket for about 275 dollars on Dec 24.

Yours truly, Samad Nasirnia
