TERRIBLE price review - Plane Ticket

This was potentially the WORST experience possible, and I have not only a 0% chance of recommending Travelocity, but a 100% chance of recommending people DON'T use it. Here's my story: I booked a flight with a great promotional rate ($350 to spain on SpanAir, flight operated by US Airways) around 2PM on Thursday, 6/16. Within 10 minutes, I realized I had one letter misspelled in the first name of a passenger. I quickly called Travelocity, they were pretty clueless, told me I could rebook the flight with the right name and they'd cancel this one. I mentioned that this is a very rare good price and I was not likely to be able to book the flight again. They then connected me to SpanAir, who added a note about the mispelled name and told me it may or may not be fine at the airport. I went back to the computer, and saw the same flight was still listed. I called an agent, was on the phone with him and he also told me if I can book online, to cancel this other one and all will be fine. I was unable to book online at that moment, but finally after hanging up, I was able to book a reservation, and instantly had new ticket numbers (i.E. Airline confirmed my reservation). I then called back, explained my story, agent told me all was kosher, and we canceled my first reservation. Four hours later, I received an email saying there is a problem with my flight, and upon calling was told that my tickets actually could'be be booked and were voided by the airline. Over the next two days, I spent FIVE hours on the phone, speaking with reps and managers, but to no avail (and with no concessions made in my direction to right the wrong that was THREE agents telling me it was okay to cancel my flight, then Travelocity cancelling a flight I was confirmed for at the time I purchased it, while it was available at the price mentioned above); instead, offered me flights 2-3 times the cost.instead of their everything is right or we'll make it right, right away" guarantee, it was more like "nothing was right, no-one worked with anyone to make it right, and it was wrong all the way!"

It simply should not be that you advertise a flight as available, issue tickets, have your support staff, THREE times at that, make a wrong recommendation, and then simply void the already issued tickets and not honor the price that was available at the time of booking. HORRIBLE experience to say the least.
