During the sales process, Mr Bednarz made several false representations. The most egregiously being that we could donate our current timeshare to charity and receive a credit on our taxes which would more than pay for the purchase at Vacation Village. After doing some research, unfortunetly the 10 day recission period had already passed, it was found out that we would only get a deduction not a credit on our taxes. I had pressed him for the distinction and he assured me that it was a credit.
I sent him and another person a letter of complaint about the misrepresentation and got nowhere. I then talked with an attorney who sent the president of the company, Rebecca Foster of Patriot Resorts Corp, the parent organization, a letter which was ignored. I requested a recission of the sale but apparently that isn't going to happen without a lawsuit. If Mr Bednarz had represented the sale ethically and honestly, there would not have been a sale. I believe he knew that and that he didn't care as long as he made a sale.
