World Presidential Travel
World Vacations LLC, Grand Getaway Vacations, Member Services Group, John Jureidini, John P. Narez, Dan Lemrond. Deceptive Travel Practices, Sint Maarten, Othe

We were suckered into attending a sales presentation by a barker (street salesperson) on Front Street that used a Scratch-and-Win card to convince us we had won the grand prize. We attended the travel club presentation that offered their services for $14,500 plus annual fees. Of course, they dropped the price significantly and offered to buy our timeshare when we didn't take the hook. These people are professionals and they make the deal sound too good to be true.By the way, the so-called free prize was a travel voucher that costs over $200 to redeem.

After doing some research on the company and its employees, we were sorry to learn that the deal was too good to be true and it appears that this company is ripping people off for many thousands of dollars. John Jureidini, the owner, was charged with travel fraud by the New Jersey Attorney General and investigated for similar deceptive business activities in Pennsylvania. John Narez was charged with deceptive travel practices by the Texas Attorney General. Dan Lemrond has been previously convicted on travel fraud charges. All this can be easily verified by simple Google searches. The Member Services Group (incorporated in South Carolina) that supposedly fulfills the travel purchases for World Presidential Travel was registered by the same person that registered a similar (now defunct) company related to Jureidini's operations in Pennsylvania. Both of these companies have a similar multilayer corporate structure and use the same deceptive sales tactics.

Other related companies: Universal Dreams Travel Club, Leisure Connections Travel, Caribbean Fun Stay

World Presidential Travel appears to specialize in promoting their travel club to cruise passengers who are in port for the day (it's more difficult to cancel the contract if you have left the country). If you are on a cruise ship that will dock in Sint Maarten, ask your cruise director to warn passengers to not fall for travel club scams. We found out the hard way that it can really spoil an otherwise nice vacation.
