They will not let you cxl even though it says no priceline fees or cancel. Charged me for room that i tried to cxl 16 hours later internet

They are a bunch of crooks!!! I was on the internet last night trying to make last minute reservations for trip to destin, fl. I had a two week vacation and i had car trouble. Today i went to pick my car that had been in the shop since the 4th of october, it had overheating problems, breaking down on the 4th (my first attempt to go to fl) and they actually had to tear my engine apart, replacing head gasket, water pump, timing chain, radiator cap, radiator flush, and mill thewarped heads. Costing me over $2000 plus tow bills. I thought i might be able to find a reasonable motel in destin and have a nice 5 day vacation since i have to be back to work this coming thursday the 21st. The mechanic told me i could pick up my car today so i thought everything was a go on this end. So at 3:48 am i booked a room at a cheap motel (super 8). Then i picked up my car about 4:30 today and was told to be sure to drive it to make sure i didn't have more problems on the road. Well sure enough after about 40 miles it overheated again (mechanic did say that there still might be problems possibly the radiator. SO ABOUT 6:30 WHEN I GOT HOME I IMMEDIATELY CALLED TO CANCEL THE RESERVATION AT SUPER 8, THEY INFORMED ME THAT I COULD NOT CXL IT AND THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY THE $174 FOR THE ROOM EVEN THOUGH THE WEBISTE CLEARLY STATES AND THIS IS COPIED AND PASTED FROM THEIR WEBSITE!"the Negotiator has eliminated all priceline cancellation and change fees" I explained the situation to some Indian as I got him both times I called and then to a supervisor, neither one of them would help me out. They kept saying they would send me a copy of the contract... I can read what was on the website, and there is nothing there about a cancelation fee... in fact totally the opposite. The supervisor said she would send me a copy of the contract. It was like they were reading a script, I am absolutely furious, as this has been a nightmare from hell, now the money I could now use to fix my car is going to them for a room I'll never see, and the hotel will probably rent it to someone else. If I can't get my car fixed I can't work. I will lose my job... No job. Lose my house. I am a senior citizen and it doesn't seem fair that they can do this to someone and sleep at night. I hope there is a class action suit against them, I will be the first to jump on the bandwagon to sue them!!!
