Terrible Service - La Quinta Inn & Suites

La Quinta,

I'm giving you an opportunity to rectify this situation before I write another complaint to the better business bureau, as you have basically stolen money from me. You booked me in a room where construction would commence at 9:00am on the roof DIRECTLY ABOVE MY ROOM and this construction is so loud that earplugs would not suffice to keep the noise out. I paid money to SLEEP, and how arrogant can you be by expecting that I am out of the room by 9:00 am, as your front desk attendant so pompously responded to my complaint? At the very least, my stay here should be "comped"—AT THE VERY LEAST! I have never been treated so poorly by anyone at a hotel of La Quinta's quality, and nothing was done to rectify the situation. Sure, they gave us another room, at 9:00am when checkout is at 11:00am. What good is an extra 2 hours of sleep going to do? NOTHING! Being a hotel, you should know quite a bit about the science of sleeping. Being woken up 3 hours after falling asleep negates the purpose of sleeping. RIM cycle sleep isn't reached by that time, and without it, your body will never become fully rested. I expect something to be done about this immediately. If this is ignored by the company, as I expect it will be, more reviews and complaints will be written to every blog, forum, and agency I can get ahold of via the internet. I will literally spend my time convincing people to not stay at La Quinta.
