My husband and I were married a little over 5 months ago. We had decided to wait and take our honeymoon when the cold weather had come. We had been paying on the vacation so many of you are describing, for quite some time.
We are young, and it took alot of hard earned money to get an opportunity to go on a honeymoon. I have stumbled upon the website, and I am reading these stories, fully knowing that this is what we will be in store for. We know we are not able to do anything, such as get our money back or cancel, all we can do is keep documentation and try to get a refund afterwards. My question is, does anyone have any suggestions on things we can do to make it any less complicated or painful while we are there?
What happens if you refuse to take the tour or listen to the lecture? It took us a year to pay for this $3000 trip, there is absolutely no way we can buy a timeshare. All I want to do is to be able to go down to Florida with some sort of strategy so that all is not lost. I don't wnat to be negative and I want to enjoy myself.
