Global United Travel in Northbrook Illinois is calling people and telling them they are a guaranteed sweepstakes winner for a 1.) Lincoln Navigator; 2.) $25K; 3.) $2500; or 4.) a new 32" LCD Flatscreen TV. They convince you to make a specific appointment, give you a secret claim number and tell you that you will definetly be driving off with your prize. Don't believe it! They tell you to bring 2 forms of identification and a valid credit card. They even call you the day before to confirm that you will be there at your scheduled time. SCAM-Nothing more than a 2 hour timeshare presentation; try to sell you cruise tickets and vacation packages. If you don't buy, you don't win anything! I drove 1.5 hrs to their Northbrook, IL location. It was just a BIG SCAM! Could kick myself for being so gullible! There were so many people there being cheated out of their hard earned money - shame on the city of Northbrook for letting these CROOKS operate there. Seems like they moved down from Crystal Lake, Illinois which was their former location!
