I was online and encountered a web page Re: Games. I was told that i am a winner. I filled out my personal details. On the 28 Sepember 2009 I got a phone call from the USA and the male on the other line told me of some trip that I won.
I was transferred from one male caller to another who spoke of atrip to the Bahamas on acruise line on my arrival in the USA.
Before you know they hjad my credit card details. Within 2 minutes of hanging up. I called my bank/Card Center and spoke with them.
The transaction was seen on their system as pending. Immediately I asked them to put a stop on it. They indicated they would. Ichanged my card the next day.
I subsequently received my monthly bills and there it was $998.00 USD drwn from my master card account.
The Astar persomnnel assured me that I will receive my transaction documents in about one - two weeks. I never got anything.
A cost was incurred for a change of card.
