Tina McAFee a sales rep for Nationwide Marketiing Solutions spoke with my husband and informed him that they had sold our timeshare, they had a qualified buyer who had been preapproved by the bank to purchase our property, and wanted to make settlement asap.
She also told my husband that she would need to get a refundable "good faith"deposit of $896.00 from us to compleate the title search. That it would be refunded to us in full along with the total payment at settelment. Which would be in 45 days. She repeated the same thing to me and this was on June3rd.
Needless to say we are out the money (on our credit card) and we have not been able to reach anyone at the phone numbers we have for them. I believe we have been ripped off ROYALLY, and do not know what we can do. We are pretty much broke, I am the only one working. Robert in the last few years has been in and out of surgerys and not working.
Can anyone help us or give advice on what to do next. I feel helpless right now.
