Ramada Plaza Resorts sucks.
I called them when I got a promotion letter about a caribbean cruise package. They asked me to deposit 700 bucks and schedule the trip later.
Recently, I read their package details and found out the travelers have to be US citizens, where I am not. So I called their customer service, the lady who answered the phone told me that I could not get my money back, because they already spent it on the hotel reservation blah blah.
The only option I had, she said, was to deposit another 200 bucks (700 bucks only for one person, but I plan to go with my girl friend), then I can take the rest of the itinerary excluding the caribbean cruise. I kept asking her who can or should compensate me for it, and she kept silent. Really well trained. I could not make her speak a word and I had to hang up. I am still trying to do something about it.
